It’s probably the most laser targeted form of advertising the world has ever seen. The great thing is, if you get it right then turning on your Facebook ads can be really, really instant. You can get instant response from them and don’t we all want that when we put our hand in our pocket and invest in an advertising campaign. We really do want instant results.
I know that many will argue, well isn’t it all about building your brand as a company? Maybe it is, to a certain extent, but by the same token you’ve got to put food on the table next week, we appreciate that as well. So therefore you would put together your advertisement and you would put it into the Facebook advertising system where it would be in front of predominantly people who fall into that demographic profile.
That’s the great thing about it, it’s got lookalike audiences, and so therefore when Facebook actually gets from you the profile that you’re looking for. They’ll go out and look for more people who look like them, and your ad will appear predominantly in front of those people.
