Procedures
NOTES: Rinse any chemical residue from carpet. For best results, use fresh products on carpet that is as dry as reasonably possible.
Most dyes respond best to RedZONE Ready. A few dyes respond better to StainZONE. Test by applying RedZONE Ready to a few tufts and StainZONE to other tufts. Proceed using whichever product works best.
- Apply RedZONE Ready liberally. Work in to assure thorough penetration. Allow up to 20 minutes dwell time.
- Rinse and extract with hot water. Make dry vacuum passes.
- If color remains, apply more RedZONE, work in. Heat using iron or steamer. Check progress every 30 seconds. Stain should be gone in 2 to 3 minutes.
-OR-
- Apply StainZONE liberally. Work into fibers to assure penetration. Stain will begin to fade after several minutes. Apply sufficient StainZONE to keep the stain damp for up to several hours as stain gradually lightens.
