How To Get Tea Out Of Carpet
If the stain is still wet, extract or blot the stain with a clean white absorbent towel and pick up as much of the liquid as possible. Do not rub the stain with the towel as it may cause the stain to spread over the carpet.
Apply your spotter to the affected area, making sure to cover the entire tea stain.
Agitate the stained area to loosen up any particles and allow the chemical to penetrate the carpet fibers.
Extract or, using a clean white absorbent towel, blot the spot until it is dry. Again, make sure you do not rub the spot as it may cause the stain to spread on the carpet. Gently and carefully blot the stain until you aren’t drawing out any more liquid.
Check the carpet to see if the stain is still visible. If the above method has not already fully removed the stain, apply a chemical that works to remove red stains to remove the rest of the stain. Do follow the instructions as provided on the chemical bottle to remove the stain.
