How To Get Ink Out Of Carpet
If the ink is still wet, using clean dry white paper towels, blot as much ink out of the carpet as possible. Do not rub the stain as it may spread the ink if it is wet.
Create a barrier around the spot with a red effective chemical to keep the ink from spreading on the carpet during the cleaning process.
Apply GOBSTR, PIG, or your spotter to the affected area, making sure to cover the entire stain.
Using a clean white absorbent towel, blot the spot starting from the outside and working inside to the center of the spot.
Repeat steps three through four as needed until the stain is completely gone. Extract or blot dry with a towel.
If this method has not already fully removed the stain, apply a chemical that works to remove red stains to remove the rest of the stain. Cover the area with plastic and allow it to air dry.
