How To Get Coffee Stains Out Of Carpet
If the coffee stain is fresh, dilute the stain with water and use a clean white absorbent towel to soak up the liquid. Repeat this process for as long as you can extract coffee from the carpet. If the stain is not fresh, skip this step.
Apply your spotter to the affected area, making sure to cover the whole stain.
Agitate the area to loosen any particles from the carpet fibers.
Extract or blot the spot dry with a clean white absorbent towel until all of the liquid has been soaked up by the towel.
Check the carpet to see if the stain is still visible on the carpet. If it is, repeat steps two through four with a chemical that works effectively on red colors to remove the rest of the stain.
Rinse the spot with clean water to wash away any excess chemical.
Blot the spot dry again with a clean white towel.
