How To Get Chocolate Out Of Carpet
Scrape any excess chocolate away from the carpet with a spoon. If you can’t scrape any off, apply hot water to the stain and use a clean white towel to blot the water and the chocolate until all of the liquid has been soaked up.
Apply your general spotter to the stain, making sure to cover the whole stain.
Agitate the area to loosen any chocolate from the carpet fibers.
Extract or blot the spot dry with a clean white absorbent towel until all of the liquid has been soaked up by the towel.
Check the carpet to see if the stain is still visible on the carpet. If it is, repeat steps two through four with a chemical that works effectively on red colors to remove the rest of the stain.
Rinse the spot with clean warm water to wash away any excess chemical.
Blot the spot dry again with clean white towel.
